In the midst of fixed images and electromagnetic tensions, at the end of a century when the hum of "reality" was increasing in intensity, written by Maurice Materlinck, and adapted/designed/directed (by Fulya Peker) as an experimental performance, KÖR!(LER) reached its audience on November 2-3, 2018 at Avto, as the first work presented by Espas Project, a stimulating example of interdisciplinary production practice, founded by students and graduates of İstanbul Bilgi University Management of Performing Arts/Performing Arts, Music and Literature departments.

Cultural Policy and Management Conferences-9: Cultural Heritage and Post-War Recovery

Professor. Sultan Barakat (Founding Director of the Doha Institute, Center for Conflict and Humanitarian Studies) will be our guest for the ninth annual Cultural Policy and Management Conferences organised Cultural Policy and Management Research Center (KPY). Professor Barakat will share with us his ideas and work on the new dynamics in the process of protection and improvement of the cultural heritage, which has been destroyed in different geographies of the world with the reason of armed conflicts in recent years.

International Fund for Cultural Diversity (IFCD) has launched its 9th call for applications. Since Turkey officially became a party to the Convention on the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions 2005 on February 2, 2018, the fund now accepts applications from Turkey as well. Applications should be in English or in French. The implementation process of the projects is going to take 12 to 24 months and will start earliest on March 2019.
