• BAŞVURU İÇİN ÇAĞRI "DEFAULT17: Zorlu Coğrafyalara Dair Bir İnceleme"

    RAMDOM ASSOCIATION, araştırmacı sanatçıları, zorluklarla dolu coğrafyalar ve ücra bölgelerle ilgili fikirler ortaya koymayı hedefleyen 7 günlük bir grup çalışmasına katılmaya davet ediyor. Doğu İtalya'nın güney ucunda Akdeniz'de yer alan Gagliano del Capo, DEFAULT 17’ye katılan misafir sanatçıların zorlu coğrafyalara yönelik bu araştırmaya katkıda bulunmaları için ideal bir mekan sunuyor. Proje, zorluklar barındıran bölgelerle bütünleşik bir sosyo-antropolojik özellik olarak coğrafi olarak yerinden edilmişlik halini (geographical dislocation) araştıracak ve insanoğlu ve doğal arazilerin çeşitli yorumlarını keşfetmenin bir aracı olarak, özellikle iklim ve çevre koşullarıyla yüzleşecek.

    Çalışma günlerinde katılımcılar, araştırmaya dair yaklaşımlarını yoğun atölye çalışmaları ve seminer oturumlarında geliştirecekler ve program küratörleri, dışarıdan katılan konuklar ve konuşmacıların destekleriyle iletişim ağlarını genişleterek ve bilgi alışverişinde bulunacaklar.

    Ramdom, tüm katılımcılarla ileride daha başka öneri ve projelerin geliştirilmesi ve gerçekleştirilmesi için birebir çalışmalarda bulunacak, zorlu coğrafyalara dair söylemi disiplinler ve uygulamalar arasında daha geniş bağlamda konumlandırmaya istekli olan başvuru sahiplerine özel ilgi gösterilecektir.

    Başvuru için son gün 26 Şubat 2017. Seminerler ve misafir sanatçı olarak konaklama dönemi 19- 25 Haziran 2017.

    Avrupa Festivaller Birliği, tüm festivalleri EFFE Label 2017-2018’e başvurmaya davet ediyor. EFFE (Festivaller İçin Avrupa - Avrupa İçin Festivaller), Avrupa Birliği tarafından desteklenen bir Avrupa Festivaller Birliği (EFA) girişimidir.

  • EFFE Label 2017 - 2018: Başvuruları açıldı!

    The European Festivals Association is delighted to invite festivals to apply for the EFFE Label 2017 – 2018. EFFE is an initiative of the European Festivals Association (EFA) co-financed by the European Union.

    The first edition of the EFFE Label and Award 2015-2016 presented 761 festivals from 31 countries receiving the EFFE Label and 12 of the most trend-setting European festivals which received an EFFE Award. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to get recognition for your good work by colleague festival makers and apply now for the EFFE Label 2017-2018!
     
    Being a selected festival means to your audience, your sponsors, your media, your local authorities that your festival programme and mission belongs to the outstanding and innovative group of festivals in the European Union and beyond. It also means networking in the EFFE Label Meet-up on 6 May 2017 in Frankfurt where you will meet your colleagues; and your festival gets visibility through a dynamic branding and media campaign that will promote the EFFE Community towards audiences across Europe. All participating festivals have a profile page on the EFFE website and are all part of the onlineEFFE Professional Community.   Last but not least, EFA will animate this new international festivals community, allowing professionals to exchanges and interact with each other.
     
    Application Procedure and Deadlines
     
    Until 17 February2017 you have the chance to apply for the EFFE Label 2017-2018, demonstrating your quality and devotion to the EFFE Label values: 1. Artistic Commitment and Innovative Approaches, 2. Community Involvement and 3. a festival’s European and International Engagement. Festivals applying for the EFFE Label automatically will be considered for the EFFE Award 2017-2018.
     
    The application form is online on www.effe.eu where you can find all information on the application procedure. First you have to register your festival on the professional community and from there you can click through to the application form (see instructions). Registration on the community is free of charge, to apply for the EFFE Label, we ask a small administration fee of €80. No further costs will be charged for being part of the community.
     
    Please know that most participating countries have an EFFE Hub that acts as a contact point for artists, festivals, businesses, and policy-makers where all the details can be obtained. Experts chosen by the EFFE Hubs will assess their country’s applications and see if they meet the three criteria. Their findings will be presented to a high-level international jury, which will decide on the final list of festivals receiving the EFFE Label 2017-2018. On 15 April 2017 you will be informed about the result which will be announced publicly in May 2017 during the EFFE Label Meet-up (more details soon).

  • CALL FOR CHAPTERS: Refugee Education: International Perspectives from Higher Education and NGOs

    This book explores and highlights the strategies and programs that have been implemented by higher education institutions and NGOs to help address the problem of refugee education, as refugees struggle for equality, equity, and social justice in education. It will touch upon and examine related and overlapping issues such as equality, equity, power, privilege, identity, rights, and pluralism. It will address the relevant issues at the theory, policy, and practice levels and how educational institutions can be transformed through increased attention on making basic and higher education more inclusive and available to all, especially in countries ravaged by war and oppression.
