Workshop: Museum Evaluation Bootcamp 

This workshop is tailored for undergraduate and MA students who are interested in the foundations of evaluation in museums and provides a deep dive into the essential skills needed to design, implement, and communicate impactful museum visitor evaluations.   

This workshop equips attendees with practical tools to bridge academic theory and professional practice. Through interactive exercises, case studies, and collaborative discussions, participants will learn to evaluate visitor experiences and drive audience-centered innovations in museums.   

 

Format:  

The workshop combines lectures, hands-on activities, and group discussions to foster both conceptual understanding and practical application.

Evaluation Design: Develop the expertise to formulate meaningful research questions, align them with institutional goals, and select appropriate methodologies such as surveys, interviews, focus groups, and/or observational techniques.
