Call for articles

DEADLINE: 30th March 2016

Dear ENCATC members,

We hope this e-mail finds you well. 

The ENCATC Journal of Cultural Management and Policy is an annual publication with articles on cultural research, launched in October 2011.

The objective of the ENCATC Journal of Cultural Management and Policy is to stimulate the debate on the topics of cultural management and cultural policy among scholars, educators, policy makers and cultural managers. The Journal is based on a multidisciplinary perspective and aims at connecting theory and practice in the realm of the cultural sector.

We are now launching this call for articles for the 6th Volume of ENCATC Journal, which will be issued in summer-autumn 2016. Articles on the following topics are particularly encouraged:

• Digital means for audience development;
• Participatory governance of cultural heritage;
• Cultural and creative sector: entrepreneurship and innovation;
• Monitoring culture and creative interventions: urban futures and social engagement; and
• Promotion of cultural diversity, cultural external relations and cultural policy.

Different from previous volumes of the journal, the editors decided to open the call for this volume to the wider ENCATC network. Thus, even if you did not present a paper at the 6thAnnual ENCATC Research Session in Lecce, you can submit an article for our journal. The deadline for articles submission is the 30th March 2016. The received articles will go through a double-blind peer review process. After this, authors will be informed whether the article has been accepted or not. The editors reserve the right to make a first prior selection in case a big amount of papers is received.
