A central mission of KPY is to run various training programs, such as certificate programs and summer school sessions for students, academics, cultural professionals, local government officials, decision-makers and civil society based organizations.

KPY training activities progress on the basis of the input from and synergy with İstanbul Bilgi University’s Cultural Management postgraduate program. KPY develops tailor-made training programs as well for public administrations, such as the program carried out for the Istanbul 2010 European Capital of Culture Agency, titled “Professional Education in Cultural management for Local Administrations”. Training programs address issues in the areas of cultural management, cultural heritage, cultural policy, cultural mapping, cultural planning and public cultural strategy development.

  • To organize a KPY Module within the İstanbul Bilgi University Summer School Academy program;
  • To develop certificate training programs to the needs of the different professional groups and sector workers.
